This week, April 19-25, is National Volunteer Week! Each day we’ll be sharing about the wonderful volunteers who make our work possible.
Today’s volunteer in the spotlight is Elizabeth Pulido! Elisabeth is the Children’s Mental Health Case Management Intern. “Elizabeth has a positive attitude all the time. She is an eager learner and willing to do what it takes to get the work done. She is a great contribution to our Mental Health Department. The compassion she shows to the participants she works with has been incredible and she does a good job at communicating with families and coordinating services for them.” said ther supervisor Vianey Torres.
Here’s what Elizabeth had to say about what CLUES means to her: “CLUES represents my family, the people in my life that have worked so hard so that I could have a successful future. They focus not just on developing the Latino community, but also on being the support that some may not have. Latino power will drive the American economy in the years to come, and I want to help in developing our Latino leaders and growing our community together!”

¡Esta semana, del 19 al 25 de abril, es la Semana Nacional del Voluntariado! Cada día compartiremos sobre los maravillosos voluntarios que contribuyen a hacer posible nuestro trabajo.
¡La voluntaria de hoy en el centro de atención es Elizabeth Pulido! Elisabeth es la pasante de Gestión de Casos de Salud Mental Infantil. “Elizabeth tiene una actitud positiva todo el tiempo. Es una aprendiz entusiasta y está dispuesta a hacer lo que sea necesario para hacer el trabajo. Ella es una gran contribución a nuestro Departamento de Salud Mental. La compasión que muestra a los participantes con los que trabaja ha sido increíble y hace un buen trabajo comunicándose con las familias y coordinando los servicios para ellas”, dijo la supervisora Vianey Torres.
Esto es lo que Elizabeth dijo sobre lo que CLUES significa para ella: “CLUES representa a mi familia, la gente en mi vida que ha trabajado tan duro para que yo pudiera tener un futuro exitoso. No sólo se centran en el desarrollo de la comunidad latina, sino también en ser el apoyo que algunos no tienen. El poder latino impulsará la economía americana en los años venideros, y quiero ayudar en el desarrollo de nuestros líderes latinos y en el crecimiento de nuestra comunidad juntos”.
