Manager of Client Coordinated Care

Amanda Pleskovitch De Canedo, Manager of Client Coordinated Care, first started at CLUES in February of 2005 after graduating from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Studies and Chicano Studies. With limited experience working with the Latino community, she came to CLUES for the opportunity to refine her Spanish with native speakers.  She wanted the chance to learn first-hand about the experiences of our clients and felt motivated in her role helping them succeed.  Amanda currently supervises a team of CLUES Service Response Specialists, Data Specialists, and Service Navigators, who together provide an integral support system for the many clients and families that enter CLUES’ doors. On a personal level, Amanda has intertwined her life with the Latino community.  She sees something so special in the different cultures and experiences; the music, the food, the fiestas, the importance of family, the strength to overcome and flourish in a foreign environment are just some of the things that have drawn her to the Latino community. Amanda thinks about those experiences and serves every person as if they were family. The positive impact of the work that we do at CLUES motivates her to come to work every day.
